Last week NC reported administering 99-percent of its first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and as of Friday morning the CDC ranks the state as 6th in the nation for total doses administered.
NC also ranks 12th for ‘first’ doses administered per 100-thousand people and 17th for ‘total’ doses administered per 100-thousand people.
The state is currently vaccinating people in Groups 1 and 2 which includes health care workers, long term care staff and residents, and people 65 and older.
Until the country begins

mask, wait at least six feet apart, and wash hands often.
