Reports state the campground on Buffalo Shoals Road has been
a gathering spot for prayers and retreats since the 1850’s.
At least 16 fire departments responded to the fire scene;
however, the blaze still destroyed 30-percent of the campground.

the case should call the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office at 464-5241.
