Two Morganton suspects have been charged in a multi-county vehicle theft spree. The McDowell County Sheriff's Office, Tuesday, charged 37 year old Jason Alan Laws and 32 year old Crystal Lea Perkins with felon larceny felony larceny of a motor vehicle. The Sheriff's Office report states that the two went on a multi-county, mult-state motor vehicle theft spree that spanned Burke, McDowell, Avery, Caldwell, Cleveland and Yancey counties and Tennessee.

A man on the Burke County Most Wanted List has been arrested. The Burke County Sheriff's Office developed information regarding the location of 25 year old Cody Truett Randolph. He was arrested in Morganton Tuesday, with the help of a Burke County K9. Charges include 10 Orders for Arrests for Failure to Appear and Probation Violations in Burke and McDowell Counties. Bond was set at $74,500.
